The AIT Austrian Institute of Technology and the APA – Austria Presse Agency have been nominated with GADMO for the eAward 2023 in the category “Machine Learning and AI”.
The research team of the Center for Digital Safety & Security of the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology and the fact checkers of the Austrian press agency APA have been developing AI tools which can be used in newsrooms for the semi-automatic detection of manipulated content. The focus is primarily on images and videos as well as approaches based on learning systems. (read more here)
The eAward business prize honors digitization projects from Austria, Germany, and Switzerland and has been awarded by the Austrian business magazine “Report” since 2005. Submissions are judged by a jury consisting of leading figures from the ICT and communications industries, as well as from media, research and other areas of business and government.
The winning projects of the eAward 2023 will be announced and honored at an event in Vienna in mid-October.
